In this role, you will play a key part in managing the reputation of our business by ensuring that all materials that represent the company are polished, professional, and error-free.

• Prepare, rewrite, and edit copy in order to improve upon it
• Read copy to identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax
• Fact-check copy to ensure that all dates, names, statistics, and facts are correct
• Identify ways that the structure and flow of content could be improved
• Act as the final stamp of approval on all formal written communications that represent our company externally
• Develop and execute ideas for written content that will resonate with our audience and elevate our brand

Event/Marketing Manager Job Summary -(Part-time)

Starting Salary: $26,000

We are seeking a paid marketing manager to help acquire new leads and customers through online pay-per-click and cost-per-acquisition campaigns. You will be in charge of all external, online acquisition marketing, managing the strategy, execution, and optimization across channels. An event manager is the person responsible for the success of an event. They are the person that guests, clients, crew, and management look to as the leader of an event. Some of these qualities include leadership, organization, time management, dedication, excellent communication, proper judgment and perspective.

• Manage the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns.
• Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.
• Craft landing pages and lead generation forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs.
• Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and potential upcoming channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of event planning and management
• Ensuring that all events are planned and executed within the agreed budget.
• Finding and booking suitable event venues, contractors and suppliers
• Ensuring strict legal compliance across all events

•  In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more) 
• Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to sell and convince. You will manage all relationships with vendors and ensure we get the most efficient cost possible.
• Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
• At least 2 years of experience in the events industry, ideally as an event planner or manager – freelance experience also considered.
• Proven results in planning or leading successful and profitable events
• Strong multi-tasker with experience of juggling numerous projects and deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent
